Google announced yesterday 3 new security features linked to Gmail:

-A virus detection tool:

The tool runs transparently and is fully integrated and detects viruses in emails (no setup required)

Blocks virus you may try to send by error (if you are infected, you cannot send your infection)

Blocking of downloads in emails if they contain viruses.

-A fishing link detection tool that can be activated and will send warnings when users click on dangerous links in emails (fake login screens, automatic download sites or script-runners).

-A tool that will warn users when they try to reply to an email and this person is neither in their contacts or their company to prevent answering forged emails that may look like someone you know.

Those are excellent news for security and precious help to stay vigilant!
